Today is the 6-month anniversary of this blog! I wrote a post recently to say Thank You! and my feelings are the same today. Thank you to all my faithful readers in over 100 countries! Please continue sharing the articles and recipes you like with your friends and family! I’m on most major social media sites, like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, so that makes it easy to share!
Wow! 6 months already! Time sure flies by when you’re having fun! Now the fun continues! For those reading me regularly, you know by now how I try to live a life as clean as possible, not only with the food I eat, but also with any products I use on myself (makeup, shampoo, creams, etc.) or in the house (I have organic towels, sheets, decorative pillows, etc., and I use non-toxic cleaning products), so……… Tadaaaa! I decided to share some of the products I make myself with you! I only have a few bath products available at the moment, but I’m hoping to add more items with time.
I will be selling these items through my newly opened Etsy shop online (unfortunately for my international readers, at the moment, I am only mailing my products to Canada, until I figure out how shipping internationally works with taxes and duties, etc.).
I am very excited about sharing these super healthy bath products with you! I make them in my kitchen, using organic food products I use, because I believe that what you put on your skin is just as important as what you eat. Did you know that the skin is your largest organ? and that anything you put on it is absorbed and goes in your bloodstream and other organs?
Right now I am offering some bath salts (soak), some body scrubs, face scrubs, Gardener’s scrub (hands) and feet scrub. They come in a cute old-fashioned reusable ‘Mason’ glass jar that you can wash and reuse (even better than recycling!). I believe these are perfect little luxury spa treatments at home, but even better since they are all natural and non-toxic. Once or twice a week is plenty, there’s no need for more, and a little goes a long way, 1/2 – 1 tsp of my scrubs is plenty, so these 250 ml/8 oz containers should last you a long time. Your skin will be refreshed and moisturized.
I have delicious flavours, such as:
- Grapefruit & Coconut Bath Salts
- Raw Chocolate & Orange Body Scrub
- Peppermint, Thyme & Charcoal Foot Scrub/Soak, Poppy Seeds
- Rosemary, Lavender & Tea Tree Gardener’s Hand Scrub/Wash
- Oatmeal, Wildflower Honey, Calendula & Lemon Sugar Face Scrub
- Oatmeal, Pink Himalayan Salt & Chamomile Gentle Face Scrub
They are handmade by me, with natural and organic food products, in my kitchen, and they smell delicious. Even though you could eat it, I don’t think it would taste good. Hahaha They feel wonderful on the skin, I can tell you that right now. Everything is gluten-free and vegan (except when honey is used). Of course, these products have not been tested on animals, but always tested on myself!
So, that’s my big news for the 6-month anniversary of EyeCandyPopper.com :) I can’t wait to share my healthy products with you!
